Erika is a fully qualified Occupational Therapist, who completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at Sydney University in 2009. She also has a Masters degree in Public Health where she graduated with Distinction. Erika herself has navigated the NDIS system since it first started years ago as a trial site in her area. Over the years Erika has successfully managed her plan and continues to educate herself around the NDIS and the opportunities and challenges it presents.
Erika has been living with a physical disability for over a decade so truly understands the challenges faced by many and has first-hand experiences as a participant and the struggles faced in acquiring and utilising an NDIS plan to the fullest.
Erika’s unwavering passion for helping people continues to grow. Through her studies, experiences as a qualified Occupational Therapist and life she understands and has experience working and dealing with people from all walks of life and with many types of physical, intellectual, behavioural and mental disabilities. Her own experience of having a disability that does not fit the typical mould has shaped the way she deals with people and motivates her further to help others in need.
